A hugely enjoyable and informative couple of hours. Expert knowledge with historic context. Highly recommended

My friend and I did the wildflower witchcraft walk yesterday in Baginton. However as there's not a lot of flowers about Kerry concentrated mainly on trees. Her knowledge is incredible, we learn so much. I see these are closed now for this year as I wanted to bring another friend. So we have decided to try the fabulous fungi walk in October or November instead. Thank you for a fabulous few hours

Thoroughly enjoyable walk. Our guide Kerry was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, I was sorry when it ended. I will definitely join another event organised by this company. Thoroughly recommend

What better way to spend Summer Solstice than on a Wildflower and Witchcraft Walk. Fabulous afternoon, 2 hours whizzed by. Will definitely look out for future courses
Heather Matuozzo (Wildflowers and witchcraft walk) June 2026
Did the wildflowers and witchcraft walk on 5 June 2026. It was simply marvelous. It is 2 hours but honestly I could have stayed in the woods all day. The guide Kerry is fantastically knowledgeable and I wanted to kidnap her and take her on every walk I do!
Thankyou Kerry for your knowledge, your passion and your ability to weave all that into a magical tale with facts, folklore and fiction. Hard to beat on the satisfaction front
Lara Cobden (Wildflowers and witchcraft walk) June 2026
What a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours, walking in the woods, listening to magical stories, full of wise and helpful seasonal information for any apprentice hedgewitches out there! Highly recommend, can’t wait to go on another one in the autumn
Fiona Barker (Wildflowers and witchcraft walk) June 2026
I did this walk with a friend on Friday and absolutely loved it. Our guide was super informative and I could have listened to her for even longer. She made it fun by getting us to do a little spell under a beech tree and I came away with lots more information about our plants and folklore etc. I would recommend this walk and will be booking with the foraging company in the future
Iza White (Wildflowers and witchcraft walk) May 2026
I recently attended a wildflowers and witchcraft walk in Common Road woods, Penn. I wasn't sure what to expect but can honestly say it was incredible. We learned lots about different trees and plants. Folklore and mythical stories also superstitions that are attached to them. We were educated around their healing properties and why certain plants were and are still used by people practicing witchcraft, home remedies and by the pharmaceutical market. Kerry has a wealth of knowledge and made this walk interesting, humorous and totally engaging. I highly recommend

Kerry was amazing we loved the course and learnt so much re mushrooms and foraging and as a bonus she served a delicious soup made from numerous foraged fungi.
I will never look at Heinz mushroom soup (other brands are available) in the same way!

Fantastic tour!
Was booked the foraging course as a birthday gift. Something different to do whilst learning a new skill. Kerry is a fantastic guide. Extremely knowledgeable and makes the experience fun. I'm not a huge garlic fan, but wild garlic - wow!
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in foraging or anyone looking to do something different.
Thanks for a really great day

We had a fantastic foraging experience with Kerry. The 3.5 hours flew by and we learned so much about the countryside we thought we knew! Kerry’s in-depth knowledge meant we had an educational, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable experience and we will definitely be joining more events and trying our hand at foraging. And some the recipe ideas too

I did the Wildflowers and Witchcraft Walk with Kerry yesterday and it was fantastic. Due to the dry weather the wildflowers have been and gone but Kerry easily swapped to the trees with seemingly unending knowledge of how they grow, the gods and goddesses they represent and why, Greek and Roman pantheons, folklore from all over Western Europe, and how to incorporate them into your magic work. The walk wasn't strenuous, it was a lovely walk through a lovely woodland (Wappenbury Woods) tailored to the group's mobility and interests.
I honestly cannot recommend this enough and I'm looking forward to joining them again on their Scary Fairies walk
Shayna Brouker Rodriguez (Wildflowers and witchcraft walk) July 2026
I went on the wildflowers and witchcraft walk with Kerry at Paxton Pits yesterday and absolutely loved it. Two hours flew by as she led us from plant to tree and shared her encyclopaedic knowledge on each one, covering its traditional medicinal uses, Celtic, Nordic and/or Greek folklore and modern witchcraft and medicinal applications. Fun and informative, can’t wait to try another one
Bernie Prebble (Wildflowers and witchcraft walk) June 2026
I didn't really know what exactly to expect when booking this, that being said, I will definitely be booking again. Kerry, our guide, was lovely. She answered any questions we had and every word out of her mouth was entertaining and informative. 5 stars

Had the course through a birthday gift not sure what to expect but was completely blown away by the whole day. My course was in the Forest of Dean with Kerry as the lead instructor that lady knew her stuff. Apart from getting out in the fresh air and a stroll through the forest I came away refreshed and somehow wanting to learn more about our environment
Barry Willis (Foraging course) August 2025
Great day today at Cerney House Gardens on foraging course with Kerry. Didn’t really know what to expect with the weather being so dry of late but thoroughly enjoyed the course and learnt and saw loads of interesting things that I now feel confident enough to go and look for myself. Looking forwards to exploring more hedgerow and woodland free food options. Would definitely recommend to prospective foragers or anyone who just wants to learn loads more about their natural surroundings
Sarah Dunkley (Foraging course) May 2025

Sue Coleman (Foraging course) March 2025
Kerry was really informative and I learned a huge amount about plant identification clues and the wild plants that are available in Spring. I enjoyed sampling some of the recipes from different plants she had collected too. It was helpful to learn about the plants to avoid eating, especially the poisonous ones! I look forward to attending another course at a different time of year
Samantha Goldie (Foraging course) September 2024
First time foraging, I had booked the course for my husband's birthday.
Kerry was absolutely brilliant, her vast knowledge and experience made the session fun and engaging, and the information and guidance provided was excellent, especially regarding identification and safety. The mushroom soup was amazing.

Julie Hazel (Foraging course) May 2024
Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly instructor
Michelle Allen (Fungi identification course) October 2023
I have attended three different courses. All have been very well run with very knowledgeable experts. The foraging courses provide you with recipe suggestions for your finds as well as ID tips to help ensure correct identification.
The fungi identification course was excellent with keys and guide books provided. The experts were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their subject and very encouraging to us amateur sleuths. I came away realising how much more observant I need to be and not to jump to conclusions too early. Thank you for a very enjoyable day

Myself and my mum had the most wonderful afternoon with Kerry. We were totally immersed and lost ourselves in the wood for 2 hours listening to tales of trees and myth.
What a wonderful rare opportunity to escape the noise of this busy world we live in, and find ourselves back in nature. It surely was a tonic
Richard Quick (Wildflowers and witchcraft walk) July 2026

A really fascinating couple of hours that took us from a Cotswold garden with some amazing trees to the ancient worlds of Greek, Roman, Celtic and Norse mythology. The added bonus was tips on how to talk to the fairy folk. I will wait to see if they were listening. Thanks for a very special walk

We wanted to express how much we enjoyed our foraging course with Kerry. She was so passionate and knowledgeable in all areas and this made it even more interesting and enjoyable. We had such a great afternoon on Sunday 9th November that we are still buzzing what we have learnt. We have also recommended the course to our friends and families. We will also be booking on another course next year to learn and build our confidence more! Great job Kerry!
Robert Morley (Foraging course) October 2025
I would like to thank Kerry for a really interesting and engaging course which made four hours in English autumnal rain fly past and her soup was fantastic. The course was perfectly pitched for beginners or those with a little more knowledge and Kerry clearly had a lot deeper understanding of the entire subject of fungi and foraging in the UK. I would have happily continued quizzing her for hours if my jacket was up to the task of keeping me dry in a British October!
Louise Naylor (Foraging course) April 2025
What a fabulous course. It was so informative and interesting. What a fantastic way to be shown our world around us. We got to eat what we were learning about and the recipes we were sent afterwards are a great way for me to keep foraging and learning, thank you
Michael Hargreave Mawson (Foraging course) November 2024
I attended the Foraging Course hosted by Kerry at Ampthill Park last week, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Kerry’s knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, her subject was abundantly evident, and I was hard-pushed to take in even a portion of the information that was on offer. Imagine my delight at receiving comprehensive course notes by email later that same day, including images and descriptions of every mushroom we had spotted during the four hours of the course. I thoroughly recommend this course to anyone, whether they intend to become dedicated foragers, or merely have an interest in the world around them
William Barr (Foraging course) November 2024
I really enjoyed the Holkham Foraging course. Kerry's knowledge and presentation are amazing. The difficult was made clear and the time seemed to pass in a flash. Her mushroom stories ranging from dark deeds to lucid explanations slipped down as well as her wild mushroom soup. And then there was her singing...
Ben Radley (Foraging course) November 2024
I attended the beginners' course Sunday at Holkham. Bloody brilliant course so much information to take in but it was delivered in a way that was easily taken on board with lots of examples and some very nice wild mushroom soup to sample too.
Kerry was a great guide and clearly loved what she does with a wealth of knowledge.
Doing this course has really got me interested and I now want to learn more and build up a deep knowledge so I can safely forage for myself.
Thank you for a great afternoon in the woods
Louise Hart (Foraging course) October 2024
